Boko haram menace croissante au Tchad malgré les annonces politiques

Le président du Tchad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, avait clairement indiqué sa position : « Nous intensifierons nos efforts jusqu’à l’élimination complète de cette menace ». Cette déclaration faisait suite à l’assaut mené par une faction de Boko Haram contre une base militaire stratégique située à Barka Tolorom, située sur la rive tchadienne du lac Tchad. L’affrontement, survenu la veille de son message, a coûté la vie à 24 soldats tchadiens.
